Count On Family Part 2

April 15th

Wally satin the plastic chair in the hallway. The nurses had kicked him out at some point, saying they were dealing with stuff he didn't need to see. The only other people in there besides the nurses and Artemis were her mother, his mother, and Jade.

He laughed. The fact he had seen this stuff was why they were here. Her water broke at 7:08 this morning, while she was making pancakes. It was now 10:17. Artemis's contractions had just started going 3-1-1* only two minutes ago.

It seemed like forever when Jade came out into the hallway. "You can see them now."

They were adorable. They had decided on Willow being the one born first, and she was just perfect. She had red hair and a slim figure. M.J. had red hair and a slim figure as well, but she was actually awake at the moment. Mary was busy with her namesake while Artemis held Willow in her arms while Jade stroked the baby's hair.

Wally walked to his mother who was rocking M.J., who decided to get fussy. "Can I?" he asked. She nodded and handed her over. M.J. was instantly silent when Wally held her.

"Someone has skill." Artemis said from behind him. He laughed and turned to her.

"It's just what I do."

March 4th

He had a feeling of deja vu when he found himself back in that same chair, about two years later. The girls were at the cave, staying with M'Gann (who they loved) while his son was being born.

He heard a loud cry a second later. He checked his watch, 4:53 PM.

Nathan Alexander West had just come into the world.

They stopped by the cave later to pick up the girls. Willow was playing fairy princess with M'Gann, by the looks of it, while M.J. was giving Zatanna a 'make-over'.

"What are you doing here, Zee?" Artemis went to her to give her a hug.

"I heard that the twins were here, and I needed to see them. They are so cute!" Zatanna exclaimed, giving M.J. a tickle attack.

"Mommy! Zata lemme give her a pretty makeovah!" M.J. yelled. Her speech wasn't quite, efficient yet, but none the less, adorable.

"She looks wonderful, M.J." Wally told her. "Do you want to see your baby brother?"

"Yeah!" Willow screamed from the couch. She ran to them, but M'Gann freezed M.J. and Willow in their tracks.

"What did we discuss what we needed to do before touching a baby?" M'Gann asked, a stern, yet gentle look on her face.

"Oh! We was our hans!" M.J. said, now running to the bathroom. Willow tailed after her. Willow might be older, but it was clear who had the leadership.

"Sdnah ruo hsaw!" Zatanna said. Make-up and bread crums removed themselves from the hands of Zatanna and M'Gann. Zatanna held out her hands for Nathan. "He's so quiet and calm. You sure he's related to M.J.?" Zatanna laughed.

"You should have heard him on the way here!" Wally laughed.

"He gets it from you." Artemis said nonchalantly.

"Hey!" Wally said. "He will probably get sass from you."

She would have smacked him, but right then, Willow and M.J. ran into the room. "I wanna see Natan!" M.J. yelled.

"Calm down! Sit down next to me on the couch." Artemis instructed. They did so obediently, then they oohed and ahhed over him, when finally, M.J. broke the question.

"So, how'd he get here?"
